This ranking is based on comprehensive scores from patent databases, with a focus on evaluating companies’ core R&D capabilities. It ranks companies according to a composite score comprising the number of invention patents filed in 2025 (70%), the number of utility model patents granted (20%), and the number of design patents granted (10%), comprehensively showcasing the innovative vitality and intellectual property competitiveness of Foshan’s manufacturing sector.
The list covers enterprises in equipment manufacturing, building materials, home appliances, and other sectors, with a total of 200 companies featured. It aims to identify technology-driven innovators with strong R&D capabilities hidden across various industries.
