Following in the Footsteps of Great Leaders, Carrying Forward the Original Aspirations of the Revolution | Shunwei Party Branch Successfully Holds 2026 Red Education Event in Shaoshan and Changsha

To thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, further deepen the study and education on the history of the Party, and guide all Party members to strengthen their ideals and convictions, reinforce their awareness of the Party’s purpose, and cultivate fine work ethics, the Shunwei Party Branch organized all Party members to travel to Shaoshan and Changsha, Hunan Province, on May 29–30 for a thematic and meaningful red education field trip.

Tracing Our Roots in Shaoshan: Reflecting on Our Original Aspirations in the Great Leader’s Hometown

On the first day of the event, all Party members arrived at Mao Zedong Square in Shaoshan with profound reverence. In a solemn and dignified atmosphere, they lined up in orderly formation and presented a floral wreath to the bronze statue of Comrade Mao Zedong, expressing their deep remembrance and highest respect for this great leader.

The resounding and forceful vows echoed across the square, showcasing the firm conviction of Shunwei Party Branch members to stay true to their original aspirations and keep their mission firmly in mind. After the ceremony, everyone took a group photo to capture this solemn and unforgettable moment.

Inside the Comrade Mao Zedong Memorial Hall, the Party members paused before each precious artifact and historical photograph, listening attentively to the commentary. They gained a systematic understanding of Comrade Mao Zedong’s epic revolutionary life and his monumental achievements that have gone down in history, and deeply appreciated the theoretical courage and practical wisdom with which the great leader integrated the basic principles of Marxism with the realities of the Chinese revolution.

Subsequently, the group entered Comrade Mao Zedong’s former residence to conduct an on-site learning session titled “A Spiritual Inquiry at Shangwuchang.” In this humble farmhouse, the Party members traced the footsteps of the great leader’s upbringing, reflected on the hardships that gave birth to his revolutionary ideals, drew strength to forge ahead, and engaged in a transcendent dialogue with history deep within their hearts.

Seeking Guidance in Changsha: Drawing Strength from the Banks of the Xiang River

The following day, the Shunwei Party Branch delegation traveled to Huamingshou in Ningxiang to visit the birthplace of Comrade Liu Shaoqi. At his former residence, the bronze statue square, and the memorial hall, Party members learned about Comrade Liu Shaoqi’s illustrious life through detailed historical materials and vivid exhibits. They studied the steadfast ideals and convictions, deep concern for the people, and selfless spirit of dedication demonstrated by the older generation of proletarian revolutionaries, thereby gaining a profound understanding of the original aspirations and mission of Communists.

At the final stop of the itinerary, the group ascended to Orange Isle in Changsha, strolling amidst the magnificent scenery of the Xiang River flowing northward and paying their respects to the artistic sculpture of the young Mao Zedong. Before the sculpture, the Party members conducted a thematic study session titled “Ask the Vast Land: Who Holds the Reins of Destiny?” Standing on the banks of the Xiang River and looking back on a century of tumultuous history, everyone deeply felt the youthful Mao Zedong’s lofty aspirations—“pointing out the landscape and stirring the written word”—as well as his revolutionary ambition to “worry about the world and dare to be a pioneer.” This further ignited their sense of responsibility and mission to fulfill their duties in their respective positions and take proactive action, strengthening their resolve to contribute to the enterprise’s development.

This red education tour served not only as a profound ideological tempering but also as a spiritual baptism that touched the soul. Party members unanimously expressed that they would take this event as a new starting point, infusing the “red gene” into their very being and translating it into action. With even greater fighting spirit and a more pragmatic work ethic, they pledged to devote themselves to their duties, effectively play a vanguard and exemplary role, and contribute their wisdom and strength to promoting the company’s high-quality development and serving the nation’s strategic interests.

Reflections

This visit was not a superficial sightseeing tour, but a soul-stirring tempering of Party spirit. Upon returning to my post, I will use the “Three Questions” as a daily yardstick for self-reflection: I will constantly reaffirm my identity as a Party member so it never fades; I will ensure that every task is first aligned with the direction of serving the people; and I will make sure that every step forward is firmly rooted in the soil of the masses. I will fully transform the revolutionary spirit drawn from Shaoshan into concrete actions that fulfill my duties, living up to the blood and burning ideals shed by our forebears on this red land.

I believe that true tribute has never been merely a moment of solemn silence before a monument, but rather internalizing this inspiration in our hearts and externalizing it through our actions. This trip to Hunan was like planting a spark of inspiration in each of our hearts. Upon returning to our posts, this spark will transform into the courage to face difficulties without flinching, into the patience and wisdom needed to resolve the people’s problems, and into the perseverance to strive for excellence in our ordinary roles.

This spirit of “seeking truth from facts” aligns perfectly with the principles of lean manufacturing and data-driven decision-making that we are currently vigorously promoting. As we advance the standardization of our company’s technical processes and the optimization of our cost structure, we must never rely on unfounded assumptions or subjective judgments. We must integrate this “pragmatic and truth-seeking” approach into the risk assessment of every technical module, delving deep into the front lines of production to measure the most fundamental data—such as labor savings, cycle times, and yield rates. Only by letting actual operational processes and data speak for themselves, using scientific formulas and logic to work backward to determine costs and profit margins, and rejecting “funding figures” determined purely on a whim, can we make the most accurate planning and investment decisions. Seeking truth from facts is the cornerstone of our efforts to refine our processes and achieve high-quality development.

Currently, the global trade landscape is complex and volatile, and our overseas operations face significant pressure. The lessons from Orange Isle have taught me that great aspirations begin with a down-to-earth approach. In his youth, Mao Zedong conducted in-depth investigations and research, which led him to discover the path of “encircling the cities from the countryside.” Applied to my work, this means I must focus intently on researching target markets, avoid blindly following trends, and identify a differentiated competitive strategy suited to Shunwei’s products.

The International Marketing Center where I work serves as the company’s window to the world. Although our precision plastic components may seem unremarkable, they are an indispensable part of many high-end manufacturing processes. My mission is to help more overseas customers recognize and trust Shunwei, and to tell the story of “Made in China” through top-notch products and professional services.

As Communist Party members in the new era, we may not face a hail of bullets, but our times have entrusted us with new missions and challenges. The spirit of our revolutionary forebears—their pioneering spirit, sense of responsibility, and drive to forge ahead—will forever serve as a guiding beacon on our journey. This revolutionary study tour has given me a deeper understanding of what it means to be a Party member. Being a Party member is not merely an honorable title; it is a weighty responsibility. Working for a Guangdong-based enterprise in a technical role that drives economic development and innovation, I deeply understand that while my position may be ordinary, my mission is anything but. Looking back at the revolutionary era, our forebears upheld their beliefs and overcame immense hardships; in the present, we must transform this revolutionary spirit into concrete actions that fulfill our duties. In my daily work, I will take the revolutionary forebears as my role models, cast aside a restless mindset, and uphold a work ethic of hard work and down-to-earth dedication. I will approach my work with seriousness and responsibility, striving for excellence, proactively taking on urgent and difficult tasks, and fulfilling my duties to the best of my ability in my current position. At the same time, I deeply recognize the significance of combining theoretical study with on-site insights. In the past, Party-building education primarily focused on classroom learning and studying documents, but this on-site visit has made the history of the Party and the revolutionary spirit tangible, accessible, and easy to learn from.

The Shunwei Party Branch will continue to deepen the integration of Party building with business operations, constantly explore new approaches to Party member education, strengthen the foundation of our beliefs, fortify our spiritual resolve, and steady the rudder of our ideology. We will strive to build a team of Party members who are politically strong, have excellent work ethics, and are willing to take on responsibilities, thereby injecting an inexhaustible source of “red” momentum into the development of our enterprise and the great cause of national rejuvenation.
